Building a Haven
We’re seeking to improve our building to help us to achieve our church vision of being a HAVEN. For the development project, HAVEN is also an acronym standing for things we want our building to be:
Hospitable
Accessible
Versatile
Environmentally-friendly
Nurturing our community
We’re fundraising to sensitively repair our building and to create a versatile space for community uses in the main church. So far we have levelled the floors and have new glass entrance doors. The next stage will include an accessible toilet, and refreshment facilities. Outside and in, we’d like the building to look more welcoming. Above all, we’re seeking to be a place of Haven, where people feel comfortable, welcome, and experience God's love.
